S-KU65 controller and Hidden Wire Brake Sensors (HWBS)

I just came to install a couple of these, all delivered from BMSBattery yesterday.

The sensors and the controller are wired slightly differently, and won't simply plug n play. If you just plug them in the light on the HWBS will be always on.

The solution is to swap the position of the Yellow and Black on the 3 pin male plug at the controller end.

You shouldn't really do that because you don't have a proper ground for the sensor. It was wired correctly, but you have installed it incorrectly. You should have turned it round and put it at the other end of the brake cable. Yours is now working backwards without a proper ground! Did you rewire just one of them or both?

Pretty sure it was wired wrong, as I tested it on the bench.

I ordered 3 controllers, they were all the same. They only have one three wire connector, and one two wire connector.
