Hi all
My S12S sine wave controller with cruise control is working with a momentary switch to engage the cruise (as long as throttle is above 7 mph).
However, the switch that I am using (for a horn) also has an on/off switch that I want to use for some 12V lights. Unfortunately the 2 switches have 3 connections between them (common live and 2 switched outputs I'm guessing)
Horn red/green
Lights red/yellow
My question is whether I can use the lights on 12v (ie send 12v on either red or yellow, return to lights on the other) and still use the horn switch to engage cruise. My worry is that I think if lights are active, ie 12v on red and yellow, then when horn button is pressed 12v will also be present on the cruise input to the S12S (red/green) which might let the magic smoke out.
Thanks in hope
Phil
