Hi,I have just replaced the throttle on my wifes shopper byke with one I purchased new off EBAY (recomended by FRANK CURRAN ) which works perfectly,as well as the throttle grip a new left hand one was also included,my question is does the original one just pull off?

Hi DEFENDER, welcome to Pedelecs forum.

If you mean the left-hand grip, then yes. If it has been on there since new, then it may have hardened with age and prove difficult to remove. As you have a new grip, you can run a Stanley knife along the length of the old grip and peel it off.

With the old grip off, smear some puncture repair solution onto the handlebar and quickly twist the new one on. Hair spray laquer also works well, just spray some onto the handlebar and quickly push the new grip on.
