I have been running my converted Dawes Horizon drop bar tourer with a cyclotricity conversion (15Ah battery) on the rear rack for around 6 months, it has set me free and got me back on two wheels, but all good things must come to an end,and recently, as i have posted on here i have bought a "ready made un"
I am presently thinking of selling my old pride and joy.
Should i strip off the conversion and sell the bike and conversion seperately? or sell the converted bike ?
My only concern is in this age of mitigation, if someone were to be involved in an accident, the finger may point towards the converter, ie ME.?
If i sold them as a kit the onus would be on the buyer?

As soon as you sell the bike, whether as a whole, or as a kit, the onus would be on the new owner to make sure it is safe to ride.
