Hello friends.

Do I need to use the part you see in my hand? There is no image of this piece in the videos and on the paper, but it came installed as I showed while holding it in my hand. I'm confused. I'm sitting right now and waiting for your reply.

It is a thin threaded lock nut, can't say I have come across one for a hub kit.

No, I can't see a reason why it's there. I haven't any on my hubs.
It might be handy if you need a spacer inboard.

Just realised it is you on the other thread about the brake calliper hitting the hub casing, does that lock nut if screwed on allow the calliper to clear the hub ?

Probably why I have never seen one, not having a freewheel hub.

You must use that nut. it screw onto the thread inside the freewheel, and it's what the anti-rotation washer is supposed to rest on.
