Hi,

I'm waiting for my motor wheel and regulator, and having read that battery/cells are a bit difficult to buy because of postal restrictions. Where is the best place to buy cells or battery packs in UK? I'm looking at spot welding in case I go the DIY route.

For my first go, I need 36V and about 10A/hr. I am guessing I need 3.7 X 10 = 37V 2.5a/hr X 4 =40ish. Is this somewhere near?

Camerart.

I'm planning to get an order of 18650 cells I've tested recently. I might be able to get them for cheap.

It has about 2100mAH true capacity at 2C discharge. Good lifecycle. Way better than standard lipo. 50g/cell, so a 37v11AH pack (50 cells) would weight about 2.5kg.

MP me if you're interested.

Hi Cwah, Yes I'm interested. You say "MP me if you're interested, do you mean personal message? How?

Cheers, Camerart.
