Hi all,
New here and new to ebikes but not bikes and motorcycles.
Got a project in mind to make a Speedway fun ebike but not sure if its doable? Thinking a mid motor in a Coaster BMX 29” with 3 speed hub/brake, low seat, wide bars and a throttle.
Doesn’t need to be legal as only to be used on hard packed sand small oval on the beach.
My question is: How much power do I need to spin up and drift in the turns?
I weigh 170lbs.

Any thoughts?
Thanks, Nick

A beach is a public place so definitely illegal.

That’s not what I asked.
I have a large paddock too if I can get a relevant answer?

Probably most likely to get a relevant answer if you post on a relevant sub-forum.

(I must admit that some such as that one are not that obvious.)

Thank you.
I’m new here and agree navigation could be easier.
I must remember not to mention ‘beach’ or the US forums bugbear ‘throttle’ next time. :)
