if they made bike frames out of aero space grade carbon for planes ect they would be 20k just for the frame.

Such a waste! But it's a turbulance math problem - NASA have to solve it constantly, for liquid gas in rocket engines, to make them stable:

They obviously need to employ some sh*t hot mathematicians.
