Hi , can anyone tell me why my 2 year old Wisper 905se some times surges as I am riding in any mode. It doesn't seem to do it when I first ride the bike it seems to do it when I remount after half an hour or so. It does settle down after a while . I don't ride in the rain so I don't think it's water ingress. Thanks for any suggestions.

The only surging that I've experienced is on bikes that give full power from the pedal sensor that carries on for one to two seconds after you stop pedalling.

When you're using the throttle at a low level and pedal at the same time, the throttle takes precedence over the pedal sensor, so you get low power, but when you want to slow down, you let go of the throttle and stop pedalling. As soon as the throttle reaches zero, the PAS takes over and gives the one to two seconds of full power from when you stopped pedalling.
