Any one have experiance (good or bad)of using a towbar for towing young child on thier own bike with an electric bike .

i.e Tailgator which raises the front wheel of childs bike off the ground.
Not sure if the towing bar will be long enough for Kalkhoff Aggattu.
aslo would the seat post fitting foul the seat supension.

I have the tailgator, its useless if your child doesnt have good balance as it gives no support, it just pulls (as I discovered to my horror as my little boy was severely leaning out it the road crying)

Dont know about the others

I tried one (not on e bike) and it damaged the towing bike, there is a lot of stress on both bikes. This is probably due to the way the average child lacks the proper balancing skills.

I used one for towing my 5 year old daughter. No problems at all with balance, turning was easy, in fact you soon forget that it is on. I regularly towed for 10 miles or more.
Fitted to my Powacycle Salisbury with no problem.
