1 Is a throttle available? Yes.
The inclusion of cadence sensing is a good idea for us geriatrics!
2 The front mudguard would benefit from a mud flap. Not yet but it's coming.
3 What size is the battery? 450Wh or 70oWh
Anyway, congrats, it is a very nice looking bike. Thanks!
1. Yes
2. Not yet but very soon
3. 450 and 700Wh

Thank you!

All the best, David

UPDATE...

COVID 19 really slowed us up but at last we are ready. It's been a long, expensive journey from the fist concept meetings to actually seeing the finished product. Today in Portugal we will be building pre-production models and going into full production this afternoon. Our new European HQ is ready for us to move in to and the first Wayfarers will be leaving for the UK next week. Fingers crossed everyone will like them as much as we do!!

We have already supplied the first container of Wayfarers to New Zealand from Taiwan, they arrived last week and have been very well received, according to our distributor they will be sold out by the end of August despite it being mid winter! They are now pushing for the second container to leave next week.

Here is the blue, maybe a bit bright??

The mid drive model in blue is only available in NZ at the moment but the hub drive version will be ready for the UK and Europe next week.

It nice to see a different colour to the blacks and greys that all bikes seem to have. I quite like it now - its a bit 80s.

What colours are the mid drive crossbars coming in David?

Thanks again for all these updates. I did not realize they were being built in to locations.

Thanks
Craig

Hi Craig, for now the Mid Drives will be in gold and the Hub Drives in red and blue.

It's tricky keeping in touch with everyone, especially with what we have seen over the last few months with sales doubling and trebling, but thanks for your kind words re the updates.

All the best, David

The 'Champagne' is a nice colour, cheerful & sophisticated.
Step-thru is more handy, esp with a two leg stand, is there a Pletscher mounting?
Mid drive is neat..
Is the front rack mounting generic, or new Wisper pattern?
Like the stealthy rear rack, weight capacity?
43Volts, is that a 12series battery?
Reach shortened by adjustable stem, plus.
Classy, thumbs up.

Is the front rack mounting generic, or new Wisper pattern? It's ours.

Look much like the moustache open frame... Will people go for the no name no pedigree motor/battery
Hi,

A more full answer...

The Wisper brand is 15 years old and has much more “pedigree” than nearly all other “names” in the eBike industry.

The motor and battery have been developed with our involvement over three years by members of the same team as developed the Bafang 500, updated and improved. We have been testing for more than a year, it’s been used in the USA (500W version) also for more than 12 months, it’s very reliable. If it wasn’t we would not give our name to it.

More importantly Wisper is the tech centre for this motor and battery in the UK, so if there are issues our dealers can contact us directly for speedy resolution. We will look after each and every issue ourselves and work will the manufacturers who we have known personally very well for many years directly. We can together move much more quickly to resolve any issues that may or may not happen.

If anything people should be more, not less confident in using products branded with the Wisper name.

All the best, David
