I see that "Bike Radar" in their review of the Pro Connect Disc included this:

"The Pro-Connect also rides pretty well without power, with just a small amount of sponginess in the pedal action due to the integral torque sensor mechanism."

They've obviously imagined it has a mechanical type of torque sensor, but the Pro Connect's Panasonic unit measures torque magnetically from minute metallurgical stresses in a part of the drive path.

In fact the cranks connect directly to the pedal shaft which in turn is pawl locked to the chainwheel, no possibility of any sponginess in the pedal action.

I get annoyed by this sort of sloppiness in testing. It makes you wonder whether to trust anything else they say.

I have a Pentax K5 camera. In a recent test, the reviewer criticised it and marked it down for not having a microphone input.

Except it does, on the side, clearly marked Mic....and the handbook has two illustrations showing the socket and it is referred to twice in the index and three times in the manual.
