Hi having purchased a batribike trike i found the detailed throttle function (described in the manual as supplied with the bike) from a standing start was not functioning, although the throttle would operate the boost during pedal assist travel, there was no help from the technical dept of batri bike and the local dealer had a clue what may be wrong (either the throttle thumb lever or the control box,) decided to examine the controller box myself and poking out from the cable access hole was a grey single wire connector, so removed the outer case from the controller to reveal a single multi wired controller and no help there as there were wires and connectors everywhere, being curious i diconnected the single grey wire connector and presto the throttle power worked, obviously a design that enables the power drive from the throttle to be disabled but retain the pedal assist thrust during travel, the more recent bikes are limited to 4mph power thrust on demand to comply with recent legislation, so if your ppower thrust lever is not functioning on your batribike 20 try the connector,
really pleased with the batribike design and function, superb swinging frame design,

may be that the manual is not up to date.
If you have a full throttle after pedalling, then it's likely that there is nothing physically wrong with your throttle, it is programmed to be activated after pedalling to comply with the law (no twist and go allowed after 1/1/2016).
