I have replaced my full bar throttle with a half bar version (both Wuxing) - so that I can fit a mirror without losing hand grip width.
I had original wires of red white and black and the new throttle had purple grey and black. After a lot of googling, I managed to find this thread where @vfr400 suggested how the different colours were possibly connected.
I can confirm that he was absolutely correct that purple went to red, grey to white and black to black. We did lift the back wheel off the ground (as recommended) for the first test!
