Tonaro big hit controller question

Hi
I have a tonaro big hit, that I am getting used to. On the main controller located on the handle bars there is the controller on the controller it has the normal battery indicator, power levels and a green one that says "Light" what is this light button? The front/rear lights are switched by themselves!

Hi Alan and welcome to our glorious forum. You are obviously a man of uncommonly good sense to have bought a tonaro bighit, well done.
The light switch on the control panel is not connected to anything, bizarre as that may seem. It is a remnant from older versions which had the headlamp running off the main 36v system.
On an ebike the controller normally refers to the wee metal box of electronic wizardry which "controls" the speed and operation of the motor. On the bighit this is situated in the black battery compartment.
