Recently I have had to strip down a couple of Tongxin motors to both repair/clean out the clutch and do some re-wiring.
Its quite tricky but very rewarding when you get one to work again. Anyway I have never gone further than this and have one motor that is very noisy that really needs stripping down further to find out what is causing it. To dismantle the main gearing assembly requires a a special compression ring tool that allows you to remove the ring that holds the roller bearings in place.
I think a couple of forum members from old have these and if they are still around, I wouldn't mind borrowing one. I would be happy to purchase/pay postage each way.
Many thanks in advance.
