I somehow managed to click the throttle backwards on my torq, this resulted in the bike still working but without proper throttle control, after taking apart and reassembling the throttle is is now not working at all, having checked all connections i am not sure if something is missing,im not sure if there should be a copper strip of some sort that sits in a recess in the twist grip throttle.

The only things necessary are the Hall sensor and it's three connections working and the magnet(s) rotating with the grip. That's either a single curved bar magnet passing the sensor, or a magnet at each end of the arc alternately approaching the sensor.

Either produces the changing magnetic field strength.

Fortunately new throttles are not very expensive if anything's broken.
