Two part pedelec sensor

Is there any off the shelf pedelec sensor disc that comes as a two part disc so as to avoid the need to remove the bottom bracket. Like the one on the Daahub. As an alternative could you cut one in half and fix it with a couple of plates across the join?

I don't see any reason why you cant cut it and use a plastic plate and screws to refix it, the spacing between the magnets can't be critical.

I thought they were all in 2 parts, as like you say the DaaHub one is.That is a lot more work if you have to take apart the crank?
