tyre size

Hi all,
Just a little help needed about tyre size. I have a Woosh Sirocco cdl with a 700 x38c tyre fitted. If I change the tyre can I fit a 40c or a 37c and what would the effect be.

The numbers equate to a difference in width of only a few millimetres so any of the tyres will fit.

Assuming the tyres are roughly the same in other respects - tread, compound, etc - the change will make no noticeable difference.

I expect that will be a good choice.

Worth getting ebike specific tyres because sidewalls can crack on others.

Conti is a good make, the alternative would have been Schwalbe Marathons.

They are hard wearing, but can lack grip.
