Thinking about the type of questions you would have asked and reading the description makes me think he won't have the answers especially about the legality of it.

Definitely not legal in the UK or EU, they come in 400 watt to 800 watt rated versions from memory, this 600 watt one in the middle.

a lot of stuff on gumtree in London is stolen......so just asked the obvious really and if warranty transferable etc........ but I looked on the map where Kirkwall was and its up in the Orkney Islands! and most gumtree adds have a mobile no but not this one.....
