This amendment is so typical of the silly sides of Japanese law.

That's a crazy amount of added complication just to gain extra power up to 6 mph, little wonder Panasonic haven't tried to take advantage of this change.

Beautiful machine though.

Absolutely beautiful.

If we put together Japanese engineering with the American ebike rules, we could really make bikes worth owning. Instead we get all these complications and a fractured market.

yes nice bikes bridgestone do a very similar bike.These bikes sell on the japanese auction site for about £600 to £800 with 4ah battery a bit more with 8ah i do wish i had some japanese relatives it would be very handy
