hi i have Viking E-Go am pleased with it .my query is when i cycle without power assist it is very hard to pedal
like brakes are on constant but they are fine .it is same in all gears checked all i can think but to no avail ,if anybody had/has same prob or could tell me fix would be very much appreciated

A trip back to the dealer should answer your question quickly. Failing that, there are a couple of ways to check yourself.
- Pick up each end of the bike and spin the wheels to see if the brake blocks are rubbing.
- Check type pressure. Inflate to 60 to 65 psi.
- Flip the chain off of the front chain ring to see if it is turning freely.

You also my be suffing from the pedaling in the field of mud effect that happens when you go from assisted pedaling to without or you exceed 15 mph.

Often, it's an illusion, but assuming not, a simple spin of the wheels in the air will tell you if there's a problem. Once you know which wheel it is, it should be easy to see if it's coming from the brakes or elsewhere.
