What got into me when visiting my best mate up in york !!!!

I seem to be getting carried away these days over bike conversions,so i've decided to fit a crank drive system to the front and a crystalyte 1000watt motor to the rear along with top of the range hydraulic disc brakes,mud guards and to finish it off a rear rack large enough to fit a child seat plus a pannier bag. I bought this from a pandora bike shop as you can still see the lable attached to the frame of the bike. I'm totally amazed what people in shops/stores are selling over this festive season.

At least one variant of the penny farthing did have a nose wheel, I believe, plus the ladies trikes of the time had the small wheel in front so were inherently a lot safer.

I've always rather fancied getting a penny farthing, but as I get older the prospect of the inevitable "coming a cropper" gets to be less attractive.
