Hi All

Going to have a go at Lipo again as i have all the gear here, i ordered some leads but the colouring is as below -

Is green the neutral and brown cell one and so on ?

What is the standard ?

Cheers

There is no standard for colours. Assuming that yours has the one-way guides on the back, ground is on the left (blue). Without the guides, it can go either way. Your battery connector also has ground on the left of the photo (black)). Never use the colours. You have to use the shape of the connector or a meter.

That's crazy so going by the leads i have ( i have 2 types), ground/blue connects to red, and live green connects to black.

There must a standard to the cells ? Is cell one near ground or other end ?

Colours vary between manufacturers, this diagram should explain it though, top part anyway:

The connector end to end is the standard not the color wiring. They will only plug in one way (though I guess you could force them the wrong way) and to the same type of connector.
