What type of cable!

OK, if I was to connect a second battery to my Kudos Tourer, what cable would I need! I mean size and amps and stuff.

you can use 12AWG or 14AWG silicon wires to connect the two batteries.

a bit of cable conduit keeps it from rain:

and a couple of M5 ring terminals to connect to the base of the bottle.

14g is sufficient and easier to work with. I think that it's best to solder connectors on battery wires.

I've never had much luck with those crimp connectors, although using the correct crimping tool helps.

Soldering is a much better job, or a connector with a grub screw grip, if such a thing can be found.

Right, I've ordered the cables and I've ordered the battery holder. It should come early next week. I'll get it all assembled in place on the bike and then consider how to connect the cable. Soldering is my preferred choice but I'll see what it's like once it's all in place.
