A used bike, more than a few months old, can have many errors that cost real money to fix.
The "error in chief", IMHO is a defective battery, one that does not accept a charge, or only goes 10 - 20 miles (or less!) on a full charge, and is then empty!
If you guess at around 450 to 500 UK pounds for a replacement battery, then that secondhand bike has to be REALLY cheap, to make it risk worthy, as it has probably not got any guarantee left!!
A new bike will probably/often work out cheaper and no aggravation (hopefully!)....

Thanks Andy, We have a spare battery so not too worried about that. Just want to know the difference between the 2 models, except age.
