Springing within the wheel, a variation on the Triumph motorcycle sprung hub of many decades ago. That was only used on the rear wheel, highlighting the lack of lateral stability that is likely with such systems for inline two wheelers.

Changing a tyre could be fun, the wheel rim moving away or towards one with each hand manouvre!

Side force maybe an issue, I can visibly flex the 16 inch fronts on my GLR.
