Can't believe how windy it is today! It was really slowing the bike down in places! Got just over 11 miles range on a full battery, and that was due to the incredible amount of traffic as well as the wind, and having the lights on. At one place I was blown off course by a couple of feet while cornering, almost into the path of an oncoming car. Luckily we were going quite slowly. The rest of the time I was surprised how well I kept control of it, as I saw other cyclists struggling. Having a 40kg bike helps! Days like this I wish I had a Vespa!

As the wind was stopping me from opening the side gate I took it as a sign to take the car

Yes it was a bit breezy

The masochist in me decided I would cycle in today without the use of the motor - it was quite a battle against the wind. I think I'll take it easier on the way home!
