Ok this is a self-build/conversion question..

I've got most of my kit here (just waiting on freewheel) and I'm in the planning stages of how to rig this up onto the bike (my Mezzo folding bike)... now this is a rear wheel conversion, and everything will be mounted on the back rack...so far so good.. my only requirements with the wiring is:

1) That the controller+battery comes off the bike rack easily in a bag, with a single connector.
2) Wiring is waterproof.

At the front I will have just the thumb throttle and there's the pedal sensor of course. I don't plan to have any control panel or mode switches, as I'm going to be using a speedict and smartphone handset to control the controller.

So my question is.. how to bridge/enclose the cable from my speedict to the sensor and throttle? Obviously those two come with the standard basic plastic connectors.. and I've purchased a 9-core thick black cable which has waterproof connectors, but I need a way to connect that to the sensor and throttle which is waterproof... any suggestions? I'm thinking perhaps some kind of mini-black plastic "junction box" type thing which attaches to the frame below saddle or somewhere discrete.. I think BMS Battery even sell such a box which is designed to house my controller (wish I'd ordered one now!)..

So, do I just order the BMS controller box, or can anyone recommend something a bit closer to home, perhaps smaller? I'm not adverse to cable tiding something onto the frame ;-)

Oh yeah and my build is over-weight already because the motor weighs almost 200g heavier than the spec..so I'm looking to shed some weight to compensate..heh.. I'm obsessed with weight now. Weighing everything in sight!
