My local bike shop has just started selling Wisper bikes and I had a test ride on the 705SE yesterday. I think that the step thru style may be better for me than the mountain bike style. I am only 5' 7'' and the frame sizes are a bit on the large size, I can just get one foot on the floor at standstill. Do any gents use the 705 on a regular basis, if so what do you think?
He did not have a 905 that i could try (he had just sold it), I find that the mountain bike riding position puts weight forward on to my wrists which I find uncomfortable over the 14-15 miles one way to work.
I've only had the Powabyke Euro six speed a couple of months and here I am already thinking of swapping it. The Wisper would be able to do there and back on one charge according to the specs whereas the Euro needs charging both at home and at work. (I'm idle. I use power mode - sometimes peddling uphills to help out).
