Hi guys
I have a problem maybe some of you can figure out. My pug peeded against my wisper 905 sport. Now when i turn on the battery the front headlight comes on but i cannot get it to turn of or to power on the box on the handlebars as usual. I took out the controller unit and all and had a wee look but all seems fine and properly connected, oh and dry I removed the battery and replaced it hoping this would somehow reboot everything or something but it hasn't worked. Any ideas?

Thanks

Water or similar in the controller can take ages to dry out Laura, due to the restricted air circulation inside to carry away the damp. If you have any sunshine, leave the bike where the sun is on the controller, or take the bike into a dry room and run a fan heater on the cold setting over the controller area for a few hours to evaporate the damp.

It should eventually dry and be ok, though there is a slight chance that contaminants in the wee are shorting across a connection.

O.k so i'm pretty sure the controller is dry........ not sure it got wet in the first place.... when i disconnect the red and black wires the light goes off so i'm guessing these connect battery to light? but when i plug them back in the same problem persists..... Can not get power level indicators on handlebars to do anything and no power assist to pedals.. ( I've tryed pedalling anyway) Is it possible water is in the motor... Hmmm this is really frustrating...... Any other ideas flecc. oh and thank you for your previous post.....

Hi

I cant see how a little pug could possibly Aim high enough to reach any off the electrical parts Unless the bike was laying on its side are You perhaps having A WEE joke with us

Also the controller Is OK in the rain as is most parts

If not perhaps some photos off the controller and battery terminals might help as wee may have corroded things This may be the problem

Hi Frank

ha ha i wish i was having a wee joke but nope its true. Parked up bike to run in and grab jacket and when i came out there was a little puddle and a very pleased looking pug :) Can't upload photos i'm afraid. no camera. Now there is no gaurantee the bike was fine before the pug incident as i hadn't used it in a few days so this could be a very weird coincidence....
