Called at Newark Motorhome Show yesterday afternoon.
There are a growing number of e-bike sellers at these shows, many with a worrying lack of knowledge of their products and with products that may be more at home in the pound shop.
Fortunately there are one or two good 'uns and for the first time at one of these shows I saw "E-Bikes Direct", a name I knew from here. Anyway a knowledgable and friendly non pushy salesman spent a few minutes talking bikes with us. Despite knowing he wasn't going to sell me anything, lol, he insisted I took the Wisper 905SE round the showground on test.
Verdict - a lovely feel to the bike, well engineered, quite spritley, probably a good hill climber as well. 1500 quid nice? Not so sure.
