Some friends of mine have been offered a pair of the above bikes. They are 2009, hardly used but unsure of battery storage regime. Look in very good condition. From a test ride they are saying that they seem to be underpowered compared to a test of a new Giant stepthrough.
What can be expected from a 6 year old Li ion battery, even if not used much?
Does anyone know how available batteries are and price region?
what is the weight limit on these, will it take a chunky chap or 114Kg up welsh hills?
What price would you pay?

Thanks in anticipation.

Rechargeable battery life is typically defined as the number of full charge-discharge cycles before significant capacity loss. Storage also reduces capacity.

id say you will need new batts for them if 6 years old even if not used that much.

The motor in those bikes is not really powerful enough for 114kg and hills.
