Oh right Is there an easy way to hack it ?

probably need a £20 throttle to replace it got mine yesterday with the optional basket very pleased quite a bit cheaper than similar bikes using much the same components . only issue I have is the rear light doesn’t seem to work and I thought it was dead before I found the on off switch. About to buy my first ebike either a kalkhoff impulse pro 9 or a burisch synergy Is the kalkhoff worth twice as much ? I know it has better range and crank drive which I believe Is better for hilly areas
