Here Here! Just got back from a holiday and read this. As a first hand victim of EBW Southampton, I'd like to comend Wisper Bikes for taking the necessary action. Hopefully no one else will fall prey to the problems, inconvienience and expense that I have suffered.

Grip Advice Thanks Inno and Flecc, I'll give it a try at the weekend and let you know.

Dealer Woes Don't get me started! They couldn't even stick on a new handlbar grip I've now got an aching wrist trying to hold the throttle open as it happily spins round in the grip. And that was just the start, i had to take it back 3 times for them to fix what they did to the spokes. Paid £40 for the privilage I really think they'd finish it off if I took it back again.

Hi All, Are there any Wisper 905 owners in the Southampton area that can help me? My Wisper inexplicably lost power on the way home from work, luckily in the last downhill stretch. All I get is the red empty light. I don't think it's flat, as there was now fading of power and I charged it, as I always do, at work. I Charged the battery overnight, and the next morning it was the same, the single bright red empty light. Throttling and pedaling have no effect? surelyy if it was the battery there would be no light? I'm loath to take it back to the dealer as it always comes back damaged or with an new fault. So I was hoping that a fellow Wipser user would allow me to try their battery on my wisper, to find out if my battery has died? Cheers

You know Martin that's a good idea. I'm based in Southampton. Come to think of it I could do that at Electric Bike World in Southampton, but I'd rather avoid doing that for the reasons previously mentioned. Any Wisper owner in the Southampton area willing to help?

Brake Levers Hi David, Do the new brake fit on a 2008 model 905S? If so would I easily be able to fit them myself? And if so, can I order a pair? Regards Seeker

Security Bolts I changed the QR saddle bolt on my wisper for a 'Pinhead Components' bolt. it comes with a special lever/handle a little bigger than a key so it can't be undone with spanner and is still almost as convienient as a QR. Plus, on a wisper, it has the added advantage of being able to secure the battery in place. (not for me though, cos I'm too tall). Regards, Seeker

Maps Do you mean hardcopy Ordnance Survey Maps? Cos Memory Maps uses digitised ordnance survey maps and it pinpointed your location in less than about 5 seconds. I still uses it for cycling in the country. Wish I could say the same phone the iPhone (Jack of all trades)

Twin? Hi Burncycle, How weird!?! I do the same as you, from the clothing right down to the 12miles to and from work! However, I'm finding the cold is going right through the Aldi winter gloves, which is no fun at all. Has anybody tried out those heated gloves? I bought a pair from Netto once that didn't work at all. Seeker

iPhone Maps Hi Guys, Seems like I'm the only one who uses google maps on an iPhone. Before that I had a Mitac Mio with memory-maps. both were too expensive to mount on a bike. So I had to stop to check my location. Seeker
