  1. i was the one who reviewed the whoosh and its saddle, actually after a week's daily usage I am kinda used to it, no more discomfort anymore. I think i experienced discomfort because I havent been on a bike for too long lol. My whoosh has done 700km and have no problems. I strongly agree with the good battery life! I am averaging 68 miles on a single charge for my commute journey.
  2. i'll waiting for my amazon order will update when i start playing around with it.
  3. thanks for the input! I might give the 21.99 one a go lol. Do you guys put any cam for the rear in case someone hit you from behind?
  4. Nearly got knocked off my bike today after a punishment pass by an inconsiderate BMW z4 . Do you guys use helmet cams? if so any good recommendations? I am not looking to buy expensive ones like GoPro, something around the £50 mark would do!
  5. glad you enjoy ebiking! its true though some shops dont like to touch ebike or charge higher price to repair punctures.
  6. if brit leaves the EU i probably lose my job
  7. isn't this thread in the wrong section
  8. You are right it was the brakes pads rubbing, caused by a buckled wheel . The freewheel also seems to wobble, is this normal?
  9. 2nd week update Apart from the unfortunate puncture last week the bike has not fallen apart yet despite daily 11 mile commute (6 days a week). The saddle is no longer a problem as I am now used to it. However, after riding it in the rain for 2 days the bike has developed a 'creaking noise' upon pulling away, I have yet to pinpoint where this sound is coming from but it sound like it is coming from the rear where the brakes / gears are located.
  10. Maybe your bike have better suspension Anyways I am used to the saddle now it is no longer an agonising ride!
  11. thanks for the tip, I just found the 'tinkering tip' on the LCD manual hahahaha.
  12. i recognise that battery haha. I am just curious what I can do to upgrade the power of the bike without having to purchase an entire new conversion kit. People seems to be able to mix & match their parts for a conversion which is rather interesting. I am far from mechanically competent enough to build / convert my own bike.
  13. maybe its a chinese BMW ebike.
  14. too late now I just bought a Whoosh Karoo last week. I might consider building one after I've fiddle with ebikes to see how they actually work. In your build are you able to swap out for a more powerful motor if you want more power?
  15. wow awesome build! Too bad I am not good with bikes or I'll attempt to fiddle around to build myself a custom ebike
