Hi guys, can anyone tell me the cheapest way to get a battery cover for my Bosch mid drive assist system battery ( ready for the colder temps). Currently looking at £30-£40 which is excessive for a piece of fabric.

Just like to point out that I have also hit similar speeds on my standard bike, yes it's harder but on and energetic day I can do it.

First ride with DONGLE, hit 30mph (almost doubling my standard speed), shaved 10 minutes off my commute time, a car tried overtaking me and actually gave up (quite funny seeing the look of confusion on his face). Will not use it all the time but nice to know I have this on days I'd cheat and take the car. Finally I also feel my peddling speed improving. Very Happy

Dongle has arrived, it's fitted and I will be testing it tonight on my commute to work

My tip is for after the washing process is to rub the frame with car wax, keeps it looking showroom fresh

I will try tomorrow, my problem is I'm a night worker and am usually asleep during opening hours so like to do things online (wife will not let me use our PayPal as she is sick of me spending money on cycling stuff)

11kg is an estimated weight but it feels halve the weight of my ebike and that's marked up as 23kg ( please don't take things so seriously )

Do I need to change front sprocket, I have 11 cassette on the wheel and am only looking for an average of an extra 6-10mph increase?

Is it a good reliable addition to the bike?

I have had a quick glance around the forums and I understand both sides a bit more, I love my new ebike but I regularly hit 25-30mph on my standard bike but the issue I find with the assist system is after the cut off point it can be a heavy sluggish bike on the flat which then makes me slower than I am on the standard one

Agree with wind but I am finding hills a tad easier on my standard bike than I did before the addition of the E bike ( might also be and increase in leg power from the ability to pedal faster and longer with the assist )

Does anyone else find that alternating from their E bike to a normal bike make riding the normal one easier than it used to? I am find this is the case mainly due to the lightness difference from the 22kg of the e bike to the 11kg of my normal bike. I'm loving this as when I'm in an energetic mood I can ride standard and when feeling sluggish/tired (where I'd take the car) I've got my new E bike (soooo happy)

Hi Bought my first ebike 4 weeks ago (cube reaction hybrid HPA race 400 (29er)) and am loving it. Started cycling again 4 years ago at the age of 40 after letting myself go for 20 years and since then have lost 15 stone in 4 years, I bought a 3 speed cruiser bike from the USA 4 years ago and that kick started a great 4 years. The latest bike is the 5th in my collection and a small cheat as my knees are not the best but I still am also riding my other bikes as frequently. Anyway that's a brief intro to me and I'd like to just say hi
