  1. I find my Goretex trousers let water through after about 10-15 minutes of rainfall, in the area over the knee and thigh, where they naturally get pulled when cycling. Is this is sign that the membrane is damaged and therefore need replacing, or does this inevitably happen when cycling even when it is intact? Sorry for a naive question but they are expensive to replace unnecessarily.
  2. Hi Tom, I'm in Norway too, Halden actually. I bought a Cannondale with E6000 this summer and I don't find it overly noisy though it is of course audible, so I agree with the comments above about warranty. If you're in the area you can give it a try
  3. That link needs editing. This is it: https://www.facebook.com/MTBandB/?rc=p
  4. There isn't slack - it's under tension. Depending where you are you could have dirt or wear. Recently I bought a new bike in North Holland and I had a crunchy feeling within a few days. That area is exposed to wind and has very sandy soil. It was better after a lube. Most likely in your case it's a worn chain or dirty chain. Check for wear with a chain tool. Lube and wipe of excess with a rag.
