Folding 20" bike that also rolls
I have a Kudos secret, it has 20inch wheels, I bought a bag for it. I've taken it on a london bus. I put it in the section for prams and that was fine, I've taken it on the national express coach no probably there. I've taken it on the train, there that was a probably because there wasn't much space and I had to keep moving it all the time. It's not easy to carry around but I much prefer 20 inch wheels to 16 inch.

Punctures
Marathon plus being so difficult to put on puts me off buying them, some reviewers have suggested marathon supreme.

Locks
A dlock but honestly it's best not to leave it out in public at all, bike thieves are robbing parts of the bike if they can't take the whole bike. They are rampant and will take any not locked down.

Folding lightweight multi-terrain e-bike for under £1000? Am I hoping for too much for my money?
Take a look on ebay, I managed to get a 2nd hand kudos secret for £120 normally priced 800, the steering and the brakes were dodgy, that's all. I saw one going for £200 last week the seller had no battery keys though.

Halfords Bike Service
I was going to get my bike fixed at Halfords last week, then I read a ton of bad comments about them in a FB group and decided not to. A lot of similar stories to yours.

Donor bike + Woosh kit advice pls
I wouldn't mind bringing the bike down to Southend once I get it, how much do you charge to fit a kit?

Donor bike + Woosh kit advice pls
With something like that I'd have to pay over a grand all at once, which I can't do any time soon. If I get a donor I can ride that around for a while until I'm ready to convert. Plus a converted donor just feels more individualis tic and personal.

Donor bike + Woosh kit advice pls
I need some advice on which Woosh kit to buy and a donor bike to suit it. I would use the bikes for longer trips, e.g Central London to Windsor, South Downs. I can spend upto 300 or 400 on the donor bike. I want a mountain bike with disc brakes, should they be hydraulic or mechanical?I'd like 29 inch wheels, but I see the kits come in 26, so I'll stick with that. I'll need someone to fit it for me as well as I don't have the know how.

Risk of getting your bike stolen in London?
But like I said he used an old chain lock, there will always be opportunists around no matter where you go. To good locks would have made it a lot harder to steal.

Risk of getting your bike stolen in London?
During the day London is fine, it's the night time is when they come out.

Risk of getting your bike stolen in London?
He just used a old chain lock though, use two quality dlocks then it becomes a lot harder to steal.

Risk of getting your bike stolen in London?
Worse than that, even if it doesn't look nice it can still get stolen. I locked up a old trek bike outside my house, it had a ruined cassette, no chain, torn up seat and I already removed the break blocks that day. I locked the wheels but forgot to lock the frame. Next morning frame was gone. Bike thieves are utter scum.

Kudos secret review
OK. ..things didn't work out, attaching some pics. I'm thinking is it possible that the screw has broken without me realising.
-
Kudos secret review
Well I'm guessing its gone down because the screw no longer seems long enough, I think I would be able to fix it easily if it wasn't for that. I should be able to fix it with the very same screw.

Kudos secret review
I think you have the wrong thread, my friend.

Kudos secret review
Any idea of how I could do my own repair? Knowledge is power and all that. What seems to have happened is the forks have gone down. The headset screw with attaches to the forks can't reach the forks with the little disk attached, thus the handlebars can't be attached.

Kudos secret review
I managed to get the secret second hand for a very good price. It had a few things wrong with it, namely the brakes and some wonky handlebars that I managed to fix. The secret was a lot a chunkier than I expected, even though I bought it with a view to taking it with me on my travels abroad, I think that is a plus. The Brompton is more mobile but I can't imagine myself riding on a bike with such small wheels.I was riding it about 6 miles a deal, going up hills is a breeze but generally I found the bike really slow, I had to work hard to build up any kind of speed. I was still being passed by people on santander and Brompton bikes. Then about 4 days ago, the handlebars got shaky again while I was riding it, I had no allen key to tighten it up so I had to walk with it home, as I got close to home the handlebars came off the forks completely I do ride on some bumpy roads roads, I should have tightened the handlebars after every ride, I haven't ridden it since. This experience has put me off ebikes a bit, I've been wanting to get the secret for a long time , I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it, the bike is china made so I bet the mark up on it is huge. The Kudos dealers are outside London and there isn't a facility for buying spare parts from their site so bear that in mind.

electric scooter/skateboard laws
I know people will find this hard to believe but I saw a policeman riding an escooter into the police station yesterday.

Lidl e-Scooter
Every single day I see people riding escooters in London, with no police to be seen anywhere, they are increasing in popularity every day.

Richbit bike sale
Kluebikes have slashed the price off their Richbit bikes, including one folder that was £734 and is now £120. I was tempted but it makes me suspicious that the price has been cut so drastically. I have not seen much reviews for these bikes but I believe they come from china. I thought I'd share the link anyway. https://kluebikes.com/collections/all

Something small for the London Overground
Escooters are becoming more popular, everyday I see them being ridden around. How about the kudos secret, for £800? I must admit, I like the look of the seago.
