Bike Rack for Car.
I've just bought a car fitted with a towbar, I'd like to have a Rack for to carry my EBike, can I get a rack to fit on the "Swan-Neck" type of towball? I think it might be a bit expensive to change that to the Two-bolt Flange type. Regards, Robin.

Conversion Candidate?
Thanks Kirstin, I was only "wondering out loud" and at present I'll avoid the Classified section which seems plagued with gremlins eg auto-repeats of peoples ads. I might even convert it myself with a simple front hub motor and take it to Norfolk where my daughter lives. Robin.

Conversion Candidate?
Hi, Since getting my Freego Martin City, which suits me pretty well, I've not been using my very nice Dawes Discovery 501, Hybrid. It's a big old beast 23 and a half inch or 59.5cm, has perfect alloy rims excellent(700)ytyres, Saccom "V" type brakes and 23 Shimano Gears with triggers(Not Gripshift!). It has a rear rack and possibly panniers. So, the question is, would anyone be intersted in buying this bike probably with a view to converting? Just asking, Robin.

Numb Hands
Dave, I had the same sort of problem, numb hands + arthritic wrists. I swapped my straight handlebars for old fashioned Dutch "Shopper" style, in alloy they cost a fiver from my local independant bike shop! 650mm wide, 175mm pull back and 110mm rise, works a treat for me, I now ride very upright, you might need to get a comfier saddle as all the weight will be on the bum! Incidentally, I was lucky as the brake lines, cables and wires were all long enough. Good luck, Robin.

Third party battery issue Yamaha
Have Yamaha written in some nasty circuitry to make you a prisoner of their own brand overpriced battery?

A Bit Slow!
Thanks for those replies, it's a mid-drive motor, but I guess thete still must be some effort needed to spin it when it's not "motoring", yes I'd love to pedal harder, but at 77 and with C.O.P.D that is a bit of an ask. I only posed the original question because 15.5 mph is significantly slower than I'd pedal during all those years when I was younger, fit and healthy, also I've still got some motorbikes, so I suppose I'm a bit spoilt for speed! I'll have a go at resetting the default speed via the display, failing that I'll sweet talk a guy "in the trade" that I know. Again, thanks for all the helpful suggestions. Robin.

A Bit Slow!
I wish! It seems that once I've gone beyond 15.5mph the Ebike gets much harder to pedal compared with my "conventional" hybrid Dawes, even on the flat with no headwind, I guess there must be some drag due to the motor?

A Bit Slow!
Thanks LeighPing, over the moon to get such a quick reply, but, I'm a dummy here, how do I go about finding/getting a dongle? My bike has a Bafang mid-drive motor.
