Has anyone had shingles PHN? , I'm 73, it started 3 weeks ago and it's a nightmare. Thing is ,I'm fit, so haven't been to the doctors for some years thus I was unaware that for the over 70 s there is a free jab. I WOULD URGE people to get this jab, post herpetic neuralgia is painfull. I've lost over a stone doing nothing and of course miss Ebikeing.

Re the meat and dementia debate--- Basically ,it's best to go for an old fashioned omnivorous diet,which obviously includes meat dairy and veg,with little processed food,sugar or salt.

Eat meat to maintain muscle mass,which is what us bikers need. I feel cheated if I don't get meat once a day. Also one of the factors ,rarely published,with regard to the ever increasing dementia/alzheimers cases ,is the correlation with eating less meat, because the animal fats in the meat coat brain neurones with a protective layer. More meat =less dementia. Fact-more women last year died of dementia than covid. ,

I got error 500 ,which I read somewhere was probably the end of the motor. However I sent the motor off to www.performancelinebearings.com They mended it and returned it 3 days later,it was a split idler gear that they replaced. An ace firm, would recommend them to anybody.

My bosch powered Cube is playing up , in that suddenly,. zero power and error stated on the dash. Any ideas why please?

good idea Jdallan but I prefer mine. I purchased a spare peak ,for another brand of helmet,on Ebay and have araldited it on ,seems to work. No screws or metal plates to dig in!

I've got a specialised 23cm wide saddle it's comfortable and works well if you've got piles!

Thanks Gringo, I lost my original helmet on holiday, so went into Halfords in a rush and bought this peekless type ,not realising it's not good in the sun,it cost me £45 so need to add some sort of peak,any ideas? A cap underneath would surely make it too hot in summer and I'm not comfortable with sunglasses.
