MTB with Throttle wanted (Wisper, Oxygen, Woosh, etc)
We went with a Wisper 705, which has been fantastic. I've actually just listed it in the Classifieds as we're moving from Herts to a more foresty area and are planning to get a mid-drive Wisper Wayfarer MTB. https://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/classifieds/wipser-705-26-step-through-700wh-only-170-miles-under-warranty.142/

Will the mudguards fit the thicker tyres?

The Last Wisper Sneak Preview of the year. 12kg Road Bike
Can they be ordered without quick release? I see the value for track/event bikes, but for a bike you'll lock up outside while you shop/eat/walk etc, it's a security risk/additional expense to remove. The ones on the 705 keep me worried when we park up, and locking up the saddle makes it that little bit more fiddly.

Looks great! Will the low step also come with a more off-road configuration with the larger tyres?

The Last Wisper Sneak Preview of the year. 12kg Road Bike
Looks great! Do you know what the weight is going to work out as? What tyres will it take? Loving the 27.5" Plus (2.8" width) on my Merida atm. How will the minimum seat height differ from the 705? My girlfriend's seat is only just above the lowest setting, so hopefully she'll still be able to get on one of these.

Best Fold-Up Tilting Bike Carrier - Thule EasyFold XT vs Buzz Rack E-Scorpion vs Atera Genio Pro?
I'm struggling to choose a bike rack to hold two eBikes, a Wisper 705 (heavy low-step) and a Merida eOne-Sixty (full suspension with chunky 2.8" tyres). I'm pretty sure it needs to be a tow bar mounted carrier to be able to hold a heavy low step. We're (always) short on space, so a fold-up carrier is a must for us, but less important if you can hang yours on a garage wall. Worth noting that a typical tow bar nose supports 75kg at most, so whatever the specifications for a bike carrier say, it's always 75kg minus the weight of the carrier. Atera Genio Pro Buzz Rack E-Scorpion 2 Thule EasyFold XT2 933/ XT3 934 Best Price £474.95 from RoofBox £309.95 from RoofBox £461.65 / £546.20 from PF Jones Weight of Carrier 19.6 Kg 18.1 Kg 17.9 Kg / 23.1 Kg Remaining Weight Allowance for Bikes 55.4 Kg 56.9 Kg 57.1 Kg / 51.9 Kg Number of Bikes 2 + 1 (Extension Kit 022 781, £70) 2 2 (XT2) or 3 (XT3) Dimensions (Open) (cm) 124 (w) x 65 (d) x 70. 5 (h) 134 (w) x 57 (d) (measured from centre of tow ball) x 70.4-95.7 (h) 123 (w) x 63 x 68 / 123 (w) x 83 x 86 Dimensions (Folded) (cm) 38.5 (w) x 65 (d) x 70. 5 (h) 26.2 (w) 31 (w) x 63 x 68 / 31 (w) x 83 x 86 Bike Ramp Drive-Up Rail 022 782, £47.50 E-Ramp, £34.95 9334, £39.95 Warranty 3 Years 3 Years 2 Years, covers wear and tear 5 Years if you buy direct Tow Ball Clamp Mechanism Press a single lever down once Twist wheel then lever (ratchet?) until secure Press a single lever down once Bike Holder Type Wrap-around straps with sprung streel core Jaw type clamp Jaw type clamp Max Tyre Size 4", may need a set of longer straps? 022 730 up to 3", 022 735 up to 4" 4.7" Other Straps are "quick-release" Unique folding mechanism protects the lights and keeps the dirty bits inside Number plate is easy to remove Adjustable max. height to fit large/tall bikes All Thule products can be purchased with keys matched to your existing Thule gear, see RoofBox All of the above have these features: 13 pin electronics connector Tilt for boot access Locks onto the tow ball with key Bike holders lock onto the bikes with key Integrated light board I'm leaning towards the Buzz Rack new, as it's by far the best value for money, or the EasyFold XT2 used, as it does look slightly easier to fit to the car and it folds up a little neater. The Atera is probably the best feature-wise, as it's got 2 years of development on top of the EasyFold XT (which was released in 2017), but it's currently pre-order for August 2019, and I'm not sure I want to be one of the first people to buy it. Any thoughts on which to go for, or any experience/recommendations having used them?

OK. Don't suppose you need any consumers to test your pre-production models? Not sure what your requirements are, but we've just backed the eFoldi Lite project on Kickstarter. Between that and an eBike, that's most of my girlfriend's mobility needs sorted (indoors and outdoors).

How will they compare to the 705 and 905? As the hub motor version isn't far away in price. Close to buying a 705 now, but it's hard to spend that money with these new models round the corner

Looking good. Have prices been decided yet?

Is this the right price for a used eMTB?
I'll give him a call then. Would feel a bit better about it if I knew more about the motor - can it be replaced if it breaks, how much would it cost, what's the expected life on it, etc

It's been well looked after, but also well used. Battery replacement is a given, and if I have to replace the motor as well I'll regret buying it. I'm not really sure how many years/miles these motors last.

General purpose eBike, under £2k, with throttle for disabled partner
Woosh Oxygen Electric Bikes Wisper Bikes do the throttles on your bikes work from stand still, or do you have to start moving first? And do they go up to the 15.5mph limit or stop sooner than that? Would be handy to know if the bikes above would suite a 5'3" rider. Ideally would also be able to fit a suspension seat post as there aren't any full suspension options. Also Woosh could the Rio FB LS take a front suspension fork, and is this something you could offer fitted? Thanks all!

Don't suppose you're working on a fixed frame full suspension bike with a 17ah battery?

Is this the right price for a used eMTB?
Thanks, found it, guess it's this one. Looks like the bike was £4700 new. I found it at it's final clearance price online at £3000. I know this bike was bought when it was reduced for the new models, so I'm not sure what price to go with. I guess the latter, given that's where the comparable Merida now is? A replacement battery is £692 for the Yamaha 400wh, but as the bike must be three years old now, the formula values that at zero. The rest of the bike would then have depreciated 45%, making it worth £2200 based on an original price of £4.7k, or £1,265 based on an original £3k price. I'm worried about that battery though - that is an expensive part. I wouldn't want to pay £700 on top of £1600 when I could put it towards a new bike. Maybe I should rule this out, given the mileage it's done?
