  2. Here's one near me almost as steep, ignore the terrain profile graphic as there is no downhill bit in this hill. A 12.2 mph climbing speed seems reasonable enough despite not being in the least bit bike fit at the moment. https://www.strava.com/segments/11810750
  3. We have quite a lot of more challenging hills here, as of course many other areas of the UK have. https://www.strava.com/segments/10040936?filter=overall
  4. I've used Komoot a few times, if I remember correctly you can use one location area for free, and a one-off payment for greater coverage. https://www.komoot.com/
  5. It is how the community responded that I find the most disconcerting, for me it conjures up an imagine of a lawless ghetto where lawbreaking is seen as normal and acceptable, and this attitude is spreading throughout the country. I don't think I've seen any discussion here about the burning of innocent peoples cars and the rioting that took place, I find it depressing to see society breaking down like it is.
  6. I wouldn't do this on my petrol moped so why he thinks it is fine to do so on a faster electric bike shows the issue with these bikes.
  7. It's for those who always wanted an agility dog but weren't great at training them.
  8. Yes the batteries have done well because they've been hammered with me and the steep hills I have tackled, rapid discharges to flat on every ride then fully charged.
  9. Here's my 10-year-old KTM Macina, it still runs on the original battery and a spare bought just after purchase, it is now semi-retired.
  10. No mention of why, from https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=pfbid0yjyZHQLyahZk7urqeAUXSA8jY1empbgq4eMX6kZCSC8MkAjFddmvR5da58bArGzul&id=100064176393359
  11. Hi

Artstu replied to afzal's topic in Introduce Yourself!
I'm the complete opposite in that I can't understand why anyone would find a bike that gives a set amount of assistance regardless of the power you put in enjoyable, give me a bike that works with you and rewards your efforts.
  12. Yes that's what I meant, the extra alloy section covering the wires.
  13. I am yes, the ones I've seen normally only fit a round tube, good to see the Hamax can deal with the wires section on your bikes.
