  5. Hi all, may you all have a happy and safe new year. I have a bike conversion with a Yose 36V 20AH battery, a KT LCD5 controller, and a Gen 2 Swytch front wheel hub. I live in a hilly are and find that the motor struggles on the hills, regardless of power setting. Would anybody recommend a stronger motor that would replace the existing Swytch front wheel motor, without any rewiring. Thanks in anticipation. Rig the Jig.
  6. That did the trick, setting P1 to 192 made a big difference. Thanks so much for the great information. How about putting a link up for those that want to replace their swytch battery, controller, and display, but keep the front motor hub. Is that possible ?? Thanks again for all the help, its gold. Rig the jig.
  7. Hi I tried changing P3 to zero, no luck. I'll give you the current settings for a 12 Mag PAS. 36V motor (Swytch) with a 36V battery and a 17Amp KT controller. 8. Hi Nealh, thanks for that, P3 is set to 1, so I'll change it to zero tomorrow , and I'll try it out. Thanks Rig the jig.
  9. Hi all, I have a 17A Kt controller, running a 250W front hub motor, with a KT-LCD5 display, and a 20AH battery. The power output from the motor does not change when I change the power setting between 1 and 4. It is probably a programme setting. Can anyone help ?? all items are new except the motor, which is a Swytch .
  10. I'll post a list of the parts used and the programme settings ,for anyone who wants to change from Swytch, thanks again guys. Rig the jig
  11. Thanks so much guys , my electric bike seems to have come back to life, you made an old man very happy. I'll drink a pint of Guinness tonight in your honour. C1 set to three did the trick. Rig the jig.
  12. You have'nt ansered my question.
  13. I ordered an 8 magnet unit, but received a 12 magnet one instead. Do you think that is the problem ??
  14. Hi Guys, I have a swytch front wheel, and I'm changing to standard system, I bought a Yose battery, a KT LCD 5 display, a KT 36/48 volt 9 pin motor controller, a 12 magnet PAS, . I programmed the unit with the settings that were posted by a lad changing from Swytch, but keeping the Swytch motor. I programmed all the parameters down to C 14. my problem is I get no motor activatuion when I rotate the pedals, the PAS led flashes ok, I also tried removing the magnets to make a six magnet PAS, still no joy. When I activate the walk assist by holding down the down switch, the motor rotates. any help would be greatly appreciated. Rig the jig.
  15. , The extension nine pin connector I ordered was faulty, so I have an old one that works ok, walk assist is working, but no motor activation when I rotate the pedals, although the LED on the PAS sensor flashes. I don't know where to go from here. I'm using a 12 magnet PAS, I'm thinking of making it a 6 magnet by removing every second magnet.
