  1. Hi I've got 2 Granite Batribikes. One was my brothers, he gave up on his 6 months ago. They are both coming up to 5 years old. One has done over 8000 miles the other 4000 miles. Both bikes developed an intermittent problem similar to yours. I spent time testing each cells and they were all fine and the voltage output was around 41 volts when the bikes were working. Just by chance I checked the 30amp car type fuse. It was blackened and had groves on one tab. I filed it and cleaned it. The bike started to work. This was also the problem on my brothers bike. I couldn't believe I wasted so much time and it was only a 30amp fuse. (10 for £1.99). You might have the same problem if you have the same type of fuse. Good luck Gordon
  2. Hi Robin I have two of these Granite pro's . One was given to me from my brother. It kept cutting out and was working intermittently. I could swap parts to find the problem through process of elimination. It was definitely the battery. I checked the cells and they seemed ok and was fully charged but still cutting out intermittently. My bike started doing the same. I happened to look at the 30amp fuse( undo the small screw at the bottom end of the battery) It was corroded and pitted. I filed and cleaned it. Unbelievably the bike works fine now and it was the same problem on my brothers bike. This was only yesterday but i should replace the fuses. My bike has done 8000 miles and my brothers 4000 miles This might work for you. Gordon
