  2. I bought it for my wife last year The Electric Bike Shop in Bristol, and unfortunately she can no longer ride it because of her hip pain. It was absolute hell to get hold of as they are really rare in this size and spec. It still has a year’s warranty left and features a Kiox display and the Performance CX Gen 4, 85nM Bosch motor and a 500wh battery. The motor is the most powerful motor available and will climb absolutely anything. It’s covered approx 650 miles and has been meticulously serviced and looked after regardless of cost by a local mechanic. It has upgraded tyres that are also slimed so no need to worry about punctures. Range is easily 45 to 50 miles. The longest we’ve gone is 27 miles and returned with 50% left on the battery. All paperwork including receipt, manuals, keys etc are all included. £2500. Collect from Cowbridge in South Wales
  3. Thanks guys, I decided to go for something else instead, thanks for the advice!
  4. I’ve been looking at a Scott Axis eRide Evo Link Its one of a very few fully equipped bikes on the market with full suspension, which is what I’m looking for. I know that they‘re a well known brand, but I have no idea if they’re reliable or well made etc. How does the quality compare to a Cube? Any help / comments welcome!
  5. That’s not strictly true. Many dealers will be happy to transfer warranty if you just ask them first and we’ve found that Moustache dealers seem to be nice people! Ask you local Moustache dealer and see what they say. In any case, I would be happy to take the bike back to our Moustache dealer should any purchaser have any issues with the bike during the warranty period.
  6. My wife’s bike is up for sale! (Link)
  7. I think the intuvia uses a cr2032 or equivalent non rechargeable battery. If you replace that, it should work.
  8. Taken up cycling again after many, many years. Loving every minute of eBiking!
  9. Buying from Ali is like buying mail order from Del boy. You may get what you ordered, you may not. If it breaks, you’re on your own - he’s got you money and you have his problem. I’ve bought many things over the years from AliExpress / Baba and only once did I not regret it. Not going there anymore.
  10. This is the xtra small 2021 model that’s perfect for someone who is up to 5’5”. It’s beautifully made, petite, around 4 months old and covered 200 miles. The 27” tyres are puncture-resistant Hutchinson Python 2 and have also been slimed! Equipped with a Bosch Active Line Plus motor with a 400aH Bosch Powerpack & Purion display, Altus drivetrain, hydraulic disks etc. Bought for my wife who just can’t seem to use the pedals properly - she only does low cadence, insists that pedalling fast will make her fall off! She now has a new bike which she seems to be doing fine with, so this one’s up for sale. These bikes are now £2600 new. Bike spec link £2200 ono Based in Cowbridge, South Wales.
  11. This assumes that B1 will act in this manner. Most will not and will simply walk away. Even if B1 gives assurances that he will act for B2, he may change his mind later. What are you going to do, sue him?!
  12. Only Specialized and NCM have warranties to be transferred. Wisper do not - I called them and they said they didn’t. 2nd users absolutely have no legal recourse under law to force any company to extend the warranty to a second user. Buying a second had ebike is a minefield as you never really know how that MTB has been treated. Has it just been road-driven or has it been hurled off the side of a mountain? The only way I would buy a used ebike was if it was cheap enough to take a chance.
