  1. We have a Batribike Gamma in our workshop right now with a faulty pedal sensor. We have disconnected it and the throttle still turns the motor. Isn't the throttle's purpose to provide walk assist? It certainly doesn't turn the motor very fast
  2. Thanks for the responses so far. This is a new system to us so appreciate the thoughts. The whole ring turns as one so the outer and inner must be seized together? Problem comes in removing the plastic cover as it appears to be attached at one point. See attached. Agree the corrosion on the spindle was a bad sign. This bike has been hammered.
  3. Anyone have any clues about the pedal sensor on the Fireball by Electric Bike Conversions? Website (electricbikeconversions.co.uk) is dead. The problem is as follows: when turning crank, sensor activates motor only for a split second every revolution. Motor works fine on the throttle. Have removed the left hand crank to clean and inspect the rotating ring (see image) but can't see anything wrong. Suspicion is that sensor is faulty. Wiring to it looks ok. Looking for any thoughts including advice on whether these sensors are available as spares, if so how much, and instructions for removal and re-fitting?
