theres 3 levels, I dont remember the 1st but 2nd goes upto like 16/17mph whilst on the bike and 3rd goes upto 23 mph whilst on the bike too.

do i get a sensored or sensor less KT controller?

Alright and for the PAS, do i use the one that came fitted on to the bike or do i order a new one?

the KT controllers dont cone with a julet connector

Hi, I have a foldable fathweel 500W bafang geared hub motor Ebike, Id like to know if its possible to swap the controller for a KT 1000w as the KT's pedal assist is much smoother. this bike comes with a 48V battery but says 36V on the controller. it also doesnt have a PAS disc. so Im guessing its got like a bottom bracket sensor or something. pictures are below

I set the the max output to 30amps on the controller, the C5 setting. most batteries here in the uk have low continuous amps, best ones with 50amps or more are found on aliexpress or dhgate

I set it to 30 amps and its giving me around 1400 watts on the lcd, would 22.5 be enough for the 1500W motor? I too am abit on the heavy side at 93 kgs

I think mines used the latter programing, but how would I be sure it does?

Hi, Iv got a KT 45amp controller. just want to confirm that diffrent PAS levels have different current percentages so if I use a throttle is it the same as PAS level 5 which is 100% current. because the max continuous amp of my battery is 30Amps

I can use the throttle without the pas but i just wanted a bottom bracket torque sensor instead of the cadence, i hear its possible with a CA3?

I dont think so, I just set it up through the buttons, i heard you can do that on a computer using w firmware

Hi, I have 1500w converted ebike with cadence sensors. Is it possible to fit a torque sensor as it has a better more natural feeling . I have a KT controller with lcd3

Yeaa the pedal sensor all done and fitted, really like how i can control the braking intensity, the original controller was so aggressive with no way to change it, the lcd3 is amazing

this is throttle that came with the wheel kit its wires are the one i posted earlier on the red white blue. iv managed to swap the wires on the KT throttle wire and the PAS so they match. now everything is working. note: the wheel kit came with a different controller that doesnt support an lcd so i had to get a KT

thanks alot. one more thing, the ebike kit came with a throttle that has a button and screen built in, can I also use that on this kt controller and which colours go with which? ikno the other green yellow grey is for the screen so dont need it.

Alright so thr colours on the throttle must match? For the pedal sensor red with brown, black with black and green with yellow?

Hi,just got a KT 1500w controller, the walk mode works but the throttle and PAS dont. here is the wiring. the first pic are the wires frm the controller. the second is the wire from the throttle and the last is from the pas sensor. i connect the throttle red black blue to the controllers red black blue but nothing. I have also configured the lcd3 for the throttle to work without Pedalling.

Hi, Id like to know what number do I set the P1 setting on the kt lcd3, how do I find the motor gear reduction ratio

so I can continuously ride at 20 to 25mph?

With the wheel lifted, the throttle meter displayed 35mph as I don't have an lcd. wheel size is 700c
