  1. A bit small for me unfortunately as I am just shy of 6ft
  2. Hey there, are you still selling this and if so what size is it?
  3. Is this the version which isn't legal on the road?
  4. Might be resurrecting an od read but I am curious - how heavy is it? Bought a trek 7.5 on the cycle to work and loving how light it is compared to my emotion but the commute to work is much sweatier!
  5. I was getting a new drive cog it just hadn't been ordered, it isn't a standard part so the shop didn't have one. Good news on reversing the cog - we now have lots of sweet power at least for a couple of days until the new cog arrives. After buying some circlip pliers it was an easy task and worked straight off, it still doesn't really look visibly worn but it must be. So after ten days back to cycling to work at last! Thanks fo the help everyone.
  6. i am going to try and get a picture tonight if none of the above helps as i may not be explaining the issue very well
  7. the wheel in the tensioner seems to run pretty freely, the arm itself has a small amount of play in it but not a great deal - i would say its only moving a few mm`s. How much pivot should the arm be able to do? The distance seems ok, i measured that last night and from the centre of each wheel it is around 65mm.
  8. Its the single one on mine. Onbike have suggested flipping the drive cog to see if that makes any difference.
  9. do you think this would still let it run fine without power?
  10. I have checked the motor sprocket and it doesn't appear hooked as you describe but might order a new one anyway. Its odd as the chain appears to be moving freely with or without power but when powered it just gathers round the cog right away as soon as the motor kicks in. I have contacted onbike to see what they suggest, its a 2 1/2 trip to them unfortunately though if i need to take it back - my local bike shop is clueless about electric bikes they just serviced the noraml bike components.
  11. Jus been and checked th chain layout and it looks the same as on fleccs website
  12. Sorry I didn't mention, yes it was a new chain as well. The path looks ok, how would you have thought they have done it wrong?
  13. Hey all, I am wondering if anyone can help out, I have had my bike serviced and they suggested replacing the rear main cog and a couple of other due to wear. I have got the bike back and unpowered it's running fine, but under power it's pulling the chain around the drive cog which then pulls the rear derailier tight. This then pulls back straight unwrapping th chain from the drive cog. Any suggestions on what this may be? All help appreciated!
  14. The whole cheating thing is quite interesting, I started 4 months ago with my emotion because I had a twenty mile round trip to work and didn't want to run two cars. Motorbikes have never held much appeal so an ebike looked an interesting option. Most of the people who think it's cheating seem to ride motorbikes or have no concept of pedal assist, other serious cyclists at work just seem to look at it and think it's a good idea for getting to work less sweaty and on those horrible weather days it isn't such a chore. But I do still still have the urge to hide it...
  15. Nationwide added mine upto 1800 not a problem, changed my policy and saved me 10quid a month!
  16. Cover arrived, fits snugly so all good
  17. I am trying not to tempt myself the miss us will kill me
  18. I bought the cross deluxe e-motion as I wanted something more bike like to get me back into it after many years not cycling (I am 36this year). I really fancied a cytronex but range put me off for the time being, check out ebay a cytronex is up for sale by the way - it's in Cornwall collect only or I would be tempted to bid! I looked at a wisper but design did put me off personally. I am really enjoying the e-motion after 500 miles in six weeks.
  19. Well I ordered one as mine sits outside work all day without battery in, for ten quid I would prefer it covered
  20. Interesting - your right it wasn't the sport max but the bike I remember seeing isn't on the website at all.
  21. I thought it was the max but might be wrong it had quite fat tyres and had only just come in I was told couple of weeks back. They had no stock just one bike. Maybe I should have had a go, I am 6 ft just and the cross deluxe in the smaller frame just felt a touch small. The big frame would be too big for me though with a sprung seat, I am a 32 inch inside leg. I was impatient to buy I think and having done a 2 hour drive I was alway goin to be tempted. I had spent so much time reading that adding a new bike I think would gave been bad. I went with the intention of trying a wisper too but lied the styling off the emotion too much!
  22. The emotion manual recommends two full discharges on the same panasonic system - don't know if that helps:)
  23. Just too add my two pence... I bought the cross deluxe a couple of weeks ago. I did see the sports max at on bike but at the time they only had the smaller frame so I decided not too cloud the issue when I had made the decision very complex to begin with! I have done 180 miles so far (three half decent hills) and pretty happy with it - I got just shy of fifty miles on the first two charges but that had a decent amount of no power in. I am slightly seduced by the power now and would agree that the bike seems to push you to cruise at 20 or so on a nice long flat.
  24. Well I went for a look at onbike and bought an emotion cross deluxe - I liked the fact it looks more like a normal bike. 105 miles in the first week, so far so good!
  25. I did consider the juicy bike but wasn't sure of thetyle, otherwise seems. Good buy. The oxygen ones look interesting but as ever with these bikes they seem miles from me being near Manchester.
