  1. No, I have already been in touch with Speedfun and they have told me that it is not compatible with the wisper motor
  2. I stopped trying to find a solution ages ago!!! I really do not think it is possible. I'm resigned to the fact that I can only 15.5 mph, motor assisted. I have done a max' of 27mph under my own steam, downhill, with the wind behind me . Unfortunately, the drivetrain wasn't up to the task and the BB and freehub have failed. If you're really not happy at 15.5mph. I would consider trying something else. All the best !!! Mark
  3. Does this motor cover plate have to be taken off in order to remove the freewheel?
  4. Never used a jet wash on any of my bikes
  5. I have had the wheel off this evening and the noise that I am hearing is coming from the freehub. Any tips on how this can be removed ?
  6. My attention was drawn to ithe hub noise after the bottom bracket collapsed and I had to change it. Chain alignment and gear change is fine, the noise can be heard during freewheeling.
  7. There is a slight grinding/gnarly noise from the hub wilst rotating. I have tried to upload a clip but my file does not have an allowed extension, haven't got a clue what that means
  8. Yeh, thought so. Just wanted to know the method of access to the bearing.
  9. I have completed 2,900 miles. I have already had to change the bottom bracket, which makes me concerned about the rear hub bearings.
  10. Sounds to me like the bearings are running dry and wondering if there is something I can do to service the hub. I have had the cassette off and given it a clean and lube. I would like to know how to get the freehub off to give that a clean and lube.
  11. Thanks David, it would be good to get you opinion.!!
  12. Hello again David, Thanks for your reply. It may just be me but I feel it is not running as smoothly as before. I have attached a couple of photos of the motor. Unfortunately, I have unable to upload a video to give you a better idea of how it sounds. Regards Mark
  13. Hi All, Is there anyone who had had experience in servicing the rear hub on a Wisper Tailwind and possibly explain how it is done? Thanks in advance
  14. Didn't even occur to me at the time. I stumbled upon the post about changing wheel size after bought the bike
  15. I had seen this post a while back but unfortunately it doesn't work with mine.
  16. I'm enjoying the ride anyway, so I think I'll get over it . Save the speed for the gravel bike !!!
  17. I didn't know there I didn't know thee was a statutory 10% tolerance... even that would do me, I'm not after anything above 20mph really
  18. Totally agree, a big turn off me !!
  19. Thanks Flecc, I appreciate your time. I understand that I could have sourced a faster alternative but I had to buy the bike through C2W, it was the only way the wife would sanction it. So I ened up going for an 'off the shelf' bike.
  20. I can box off my commute in 30mins on my gravel bike but need a shower when I get in. Thats the reason why I got a pedelec, no effort, no stress, save money !
  21. Hi David, Many thanks for the info'!! I totally get it regarding the reasons for the increased weight but to be honest, I don't find it a problem. I would rather have the convenience of a removeable battery. You have been spot on with the styling as well, got a lot of people in work asking about it. Very happy with my purchase and no gripes whatsoever!! All the best Mark
  22. Anyone know a way of increasing the assisted speed limit on a Tailwind. Only after a couple of extra Mph just to trim my commute time.
  23. I have just read the data on the rack and it's 18kg
